Welcome to First Grade!!!!!!

I am "SUPER" excited to be your child's First Grade teacher, and I have tons of fun lessons in store for the school year ahead! It is my goal to build on your child's strengths while instilling a love for learning. My classroom is a nurturing environment in which your child will feel successful and proud!

I started here with the Walnut Valley Unified School District as a college student and parent. Later, I became a substitute.  Afterwards, I fell in love with the district and students that I decided to come out from being an 8 year stay at home mom and follow my childhood dream.  I was ready to teach!  I started teaching technology and science enrichment at Westhoff Elementary working with K-5th grade.  After, I took an offer to be the reading intervention teacher at Evergreen Elementary, working with K-5th grade students.  Now, I am here at Vejar and enjoying all my students, supportive parents and the AMAZING staff that I get to work with.
