Ms. Calero

 

My name is Ms. Calero, and I am ecstatic to be joining Vejar Elementary School as
a first grade teacher. I graduated from California State University Fullerton with a
Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an Elementary Education emphasis and a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May 2024, and I graduated from CSUF’s
Multiple Subject Credential Program this past May.

This is my first year here, and I cannot wait to make the best memories with
every student. I am dedicated to creating a classroom environment where every
student feels valued, supported, and part of the classroom community. I believe
that when students feel seen and acknowledged, they become more confident,
connected, and motivated to learn. My goal is to recognize and nurture the
unique strengths, learning styles, and backgrounds of every student, as well as
providing individualized support to help all students succeed. In all aspects of my
teaching, I strive to cultivate a space where every student can
thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. With everyone's help I’m so
excited to build a supportive community that aims to empower every child to
reach their fullest potential this school year.
