Mrs. Goya

Hello, I’m Mrs. Goya.

Since joining Vejar Elementary in 2021, I've been passionate about integrating the library into our school community. Through my love for reading and children’s literature, I aim to create a welcoming and safe environment where students, teachers, and parent volunteers come together to celebrate reading and learning.

Reading is fundamental to acquiring knowledge across all subjects and is essential for success in school. I find it incredibly rewarding to engage with students, guiding them to discover books that ignite their excitement for reading. Instilling a love for reading early on fosters lifelong learning. I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive reading culture at our school, making reading enjoyable and accessible for every student.

Beyond the library, I enjoy reading across all genres. On weekends, you'll often find me performing on stages across Southern California as a professional musician. I also treasure time spent with my family, enjoy photography, good coffee, and exploring local bike trails whenever possible.
