Welcome to Room 3!

Hello Vejar families,

My name is Mrs. Lara and I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year! I can't wait to meet all of you.

I have been teaching at Vejar for the past 8 years. I first started as the Music and Technology teacher for grades 1-5, then taught for three years in 2nd grade, four years in 4th grade, and now this will be my first year teaching Kindergarten.

I am a Cal State Fullerton alumni and have earned my Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development in 2017, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2018, and Masters of Science in Educational Technology in 2021 all at CSUF.

When I'm not teaching, I love to be outdoors, watching sports, reading, and spending time with my family. I have a son named Jackson who turns 2 in October.

I also have several pets:

Joey the cat
Daisy the dog
Neville the leopard gecko
Two chickens named Helga and Ethel
